Torre Julia de Jacopo

It houses one of the most important collections of archaic majolica in Central Italy, which includes: mugs, vessels, basins that stand out for a variety of decorative motifs ranging from the simplest geometric and plant motifs to the coats of arms of noble families, to inscriptions and religious symbols .
The finds were found in the excavations of the former Convent of Sant ‘Agostino, this deposit probably formed following the precautionary measures taken to stem the effects of the black plague around the middle of the fourteenth century.
